The Fate of Empire
Born from an idea by Andrew Gilbert, collected and developed by Camilla Nacci, the unprecedented combination of the three young artists Andrew Gilbert, Jarmila Mitríková & Dávid Demjanovič and Umar Rashid (Frohawk Two Feathers), whose path is united by an iconographic research which draws heavily on historical episodes more or less explicitly characterized. However, in all cases, it is a visionary reinvention, capable of giving alternative solutions to the great history with aesthetic results of great elegance, in which the loans from antiquity are rewritten in a contemporary key in a language that is at times biting, at times poetic.
