Was born in 1981 in Cina
Hu Zi was born in China in 1981. Hu Zi is a Shanghai artist known for her impressive portraits of people and her artistic expression of the modern condition. The artist began his career in 2000 attending the China Academy of Art. Then she was hosted at the Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris and in 2014 at Glenfiddich Artists in Residence, in Scotland. Hu Zi has participated in many group exhibitions across Asia and Europe. In 2008 she had his first solo exhibition at the Eastlink Gallery in Shanghai. She currently lives and works in Shanghai.
