In the exhibition conceived for the Tublà da Nives, various sections alternate corresponding to different phases of Laurina Paperina’s work: from a figurative welcome, where works on canvas and paper tell the artist’s imagination, one enters an audiovisual immersion which creates a short circuit between video-animations, and then reaches the “terracotta army”, made up of newborn sculptures that bring the characters of Laurina Daisy to the third dimension. Finally, as a tribute to Tublà and the alpine setting that hosts it, a collection of vintage mountain postcards revisited by the artist will be exhibited.
Laurina Paperina (Rovereto, 1980) si muove da sempre in un orizzonte culturale a metà tra il mondo del cartoon e del fu- metto e la cultura pop, dando vita a un’arte sarcastica e ironica. Attraverso i numerosi supporti e medium utilizzati dall’artista, come dipinti, disegni, installazioni scultura, murales e animazione, Laurina Paperina rappresenta il mondo filtrandolo con un selvaggio e accattivante sense of humour. L’artista ha partecipa- to a numerose mostre pubbliche e private in spazi internazionali, e ha dato vita a progetti e pubblicazioni, e collaborazioni extra con case di moda, aziende, musicisti e persino il team Moto3 SRT VR46, per la grande efficacia comunicativa della sua arte anche in contesti non convenzionali.
