Plumcake

About

Pluncake constituted by Gianni Cella (1953), Romolo Pallotta (1954), Claudio Ragni (1955)

The name “Plumcake” in the international scene defines an Italian collective formed in 1983 by Gianni Cella (1953), Romolo Pallotta (1954) and Claudio Ragni (1955) with the collaboration of the well-known Italian gallerist Luciano Inga-Pin. Deeply simple, brightly colored paintings and bas-reliefs combine cultured and popular art, comics and classical culture, design and craftsmanship. After the first exhibition in January 1983 at the Diagramma Gallery by Luciano Ing-Pin, the Plumcakes exhibit in important projects in Northern Italy, Northern Europe and America.
